Austin Kicks off Summer’s First Run4One Event

Enthusiastic Adecco Group North America colleagues gathered in Austin on June 21st to kick this summer’s first Run4One event.

“Austin is a great and lively city and the employees here are the same way,” said Veronica Day, Adecco Marketing and Events Coordinator.

The event boasted more than 45 colleagues, associates and clients who ran or walked a few miles to support the local chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of Austin.

“I know they got a great start to our Win4Youth campaign and are leaders by example for the rest of the markets running events this summer,” said Veronica.

Run4One is the 2012 Win4Youth NA program. Run4One days will occur every Thursday until Oct. 7th. Throughout that time, 15 cities will hold events to encourage local markets to come together and run to support the Boys and Girls Club of America, this year’s Win4Youth NA target charity. You can register here to see the participating cities and join an event.

“We want momentum going into every event around the country,” said Veronica.

These Run4One events are designed to help North America reach its goal to run 35,000km.

“Events like this are important for employees,” said Veronica. “It allows different facets of the company to come together and work as a team towards a goal that they would not normally have.”

This is a united effort, so we encourage all employees, associates, and clients to participate. If you can’t make one of the local events, consider creating your own or joining a virtual event at the Win4Youth tracking site.
